15-16 Michigan in-residence credits per term
Single-semester students generally take 4 language and civilization courses designed for the program plus an additional special topics course; for those with sufficient preparation, this may be taken from the regular offerings at the University. In the second semester, students continue language instruction but are allowed 2-3 specially organized courses and up to two regular University courses. Enrollment at Irkutsk University includes coursework in anthropology and ecology.
