Semester programs are based at Ho Chi Minh International University in Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam. The CIEE Center in Ho Chi Minh City provides a solid foundation in economics, sociology, history, and literature related to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Participants study Vietnamese language throughout the program and engage in cultural activities. During the Fall semester, students spend the final five weeks studying in Hanoi and in the Winter, the final four weeks are spent in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Special courses are offered on each site, focusing specifically on local issues of the new location. See program site for course details: www.ciee.org.
