Advising Information

For prospective concentrators, the best source of information is an Organizational Studies General Information Session, offered at least once each term. Check the Events and News section of this website for future session dates.

GENERAL INFORMATION SESSION: THE NEXT INFORMATION SESSION WILL BE DURING FALL 2008.

In addition to the information session, several Organizational Studies staff are available on a regular basis to provide information to students:

Denise Yekulis, Office Services Coordinator

Room 713 Dennison, 734-764-6767, org.studies@umich.edu.
Provides with program materials. Accepts applications and other paperwork being turned in to the program.
Provides information on walk-in advising for prospective concentrators.

Jessica Santos, Student Services Coordinator

Room 709 Dennison, 734-764-6715, org.studies@umich.edu.
Sees prospective OS students by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled online).
Provides general program information, including information on the application process, the OS required curriculum, and course availability.

Catherine Philbin, Concentration Advisor

Room 705 Dennison, 734-764-6809, cphilbin@umich.edu.
Advises concentrators in scheduled appointments.
Assists concentrators with course planning, progress-toward-degree information, course transfer or approval, study abroad, and other issues.
Works part-time, and is generally in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Cathy is available for scheduled appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and OS concentrators may schedule appointments online).
