What role do political parties, social movements, and interest groups play in this process? This research explores the informal relationships between and within organizations that drive political dynamics. Drawing on extensive studies on health care lobbying, the American antiwar movement, and the 2008 Democratic and Republican conventions, this research explains some of the puzzles and solutions to political organization.
