OS Leadership Committee member discusses innovation

Five years ago Cargill, Inc., was simply a commodity supplier, specializing in farm feed and raw agricultural products such as eggs and corn. Not too exciting. And neither was the future of the company.

But Cargill chose to re-envision itself and underwent a dramatic shift in its mission, re-forming itself as an innovator rather than merely a supplier. And it took all 105,000 employees along for the ride.

How does a company successfully navigate such change? Carol Pletcher, Cargill Innovation Officer and OS Leadership Committee member, spoke at the March 30 MOST on "Championing Innovation in the Organization: The ABCs of Change."
