OS Leadership Committee member discusses innovation Wednesday, March 30, 2005 Five years ago Cargill, Inc., was simply a commodity supplier, specializing in farm feed and raw agricultural products such as eggs and corn. Not too exciting. And neither was the future of the company. But Cargill chose to re-envision itself and underwent a dramatic shift in its mission, re-forming itself as an innovator rather than merely a supplier. And it took all 105,000 employees along for the ride. How does a company successfully navigate such change?
