Kate is currently studying an emphasis on nonprofit management and social change through the Organizational Studies curriculum. Within OS, she is a member of the Curriculum Committee and Women in Leadership Lessons (WiLL), and is a member of Professor Victoria Johnson's botanical garden research team, the "Snapdragons." Outside of OS, Kate is involved in several student organizations, including Invisible Children and University of Michigan Dance Marathon. Last summer she spent a month in Ghana working at a children's home, and hopes to continue nonprofit and development work after graduation.
