Job Description:
Denise is primarily responsible for support to the director, staff and faculty that ensures an efficient, open and friendly atmosphere for students, faculty and visitors.
Denise Yekulis returned to the University after a three year absence. During those three years she worked in Chelsea where she lives with her husband Joseph, daughters Melissa (a kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of Fatima, Michigan Center), Margaret (a senior at Central Michigan University) and her German Shorthaired Pointer puppy, Bogart. Prior to leaving the University in January 1999, Denise worked at the School of Music coordinating summer programs for music educators and youth interested in Musical Theatre and Music Technology. She was also staff support to the Music Education Department and Musical Theatre Department. From 2001-2003 she restored Renaissance costumes that were worn by the Madrigal singers at Siena Heights University in Adrian. Currently, she is busy with training her German Shorthair puppy in obedience and agility. Stop by anytime to say hi and see what home baked goodies she has brought into the office!
