The University of Michigan chapter of Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) was established in 2013 as part of the larger national MAP organization.
The next MAP lecture will be provided by Kristie Dotson, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Michigan State University. Her lecture will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, from 11:30-1:00 pm in 3222 Angell Hall. All are encouraged to attend.
Tim McKay, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Physics, Director of the LSA Honors Program, and member of UM's STRIDE (Strategies and Tactics for Recruiting to Improve Diversity and Excellence) Committee, provided the local chapter's inaugural lecture, "Women in STEM and Philosophy: Data and Models Inform our Response."
