WEINBERG VISITOR

Marshall M. Weinberg Distinguished Visiting Professors of Philosophy join the Department for one term. Weinberg Visiting Professors conduct research in epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, or ethics, often pursuing the interactions between these fields and related disciplines. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, Weinberg visitors deliver a public lecture. Funding is provided by the Weinberg Distinguished Visiting Professor Endowment, established in 1997 by Marshall M. Weinberg (B.A., '50). The endowment insures that Michigan students gain sustained, first-hand exposure to new ideas affecting our discipline.
