Professor Victor Caston was recently named a LSA Michigan Humanities Award winner. These awards are presented annually to tenured, full-time faculty members engaged in major scholarly and creative projects in relevant fields. Professor Caston will use his award to accelerate a booklength project (already underway) on early Stoic theories of mental representation and content. The book promises to galvanize interest in early Stoic philosophy of mind and language.
