Gabe Mendlow studies moral and legal philosophy, with particular attention to the foundations of criminal law and criminal procedure. He also works on moral psychology and tort law. Before joining the Philosophy Department, Prof. Mendlow served as a federal prosecutor in Detroit, a law clerk to Justice Richard N. Palmer of the Connecticut Supreme Court, and a postdoctoral associate in law and philosophy at Yale University.
