  • About

Patrick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where he received a B.A. (Honours) in philosophy in 2010. He is interested in all things epistemic, including issues found within traditional epistemology, formal epistemology, and the intersection of the two. Specifically, he is interested in the manner in which traditional accounts of justification can incorporate the methods and tools found within formal epistemology; this goes along with his interest in the “formalization” of epistemology more generally. He also likes thinking about reliabilism quite a bit. Patrick also has an interest in philosophy of language and semantics, where issues involving deontic and epistemic modals have caught his attention.

Outside of philosophy, Patrick likes deluding himself about being some type of musician, discovering new bands, jetting back to the GTA, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
