  Mara completed her undergraduate work at the University of Sydney, where she received a B.A. in philosophy, psychology and Indonesian studies in 2009 and a B.A. (Honours) in philosophy in 2010. Her primary research interests are in ethics, metaethics and moral psychology. She is particularly interested in how empirical findings from the cognitive sciences can shed light on questions about the nature of moral judgment and behavior.  

  Besides philosophy, Mara's passions include Indonesia (especially its food), listening to music, baking ninja-shaped gingerbread men, and tackling cryptic crosswords.
