Admissions, Social Chair & Spring Colloquium Coordinator, 2013-14
Sydney received her B.A. in philosophy from Haverford College in 2011. Her primary research interests are in epistemology (both formal and traditional) and in the philosophy of language. Lately, she’s enjoyed thinking about the relationship between knowledge and certainty; the ways in which suspension of judgment may figure in a degreed view of mental life; and peer disagreement. She also has strong interests in feminist philosophy and ancient philosophy.
