Sophie Monahan graduated in 2011 with a dual BS in philosophy and physics from MIT and spent a gap year doing data analysis for an endowment up the river. Her so-far broad interests lie in the physical fundamentals of the world, the scientific project to refine our understanding of them, and also in the inquiry for fundamentals in ethics. In her free time, Sophie is an epéeist.
