Rohan was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and studied at Cambridge University and Columbia University, where he received a B.A. summa cum laude in Economics and Philosophy. Before returning to Michigan, Rohan worked briefly at Morgan Stanley's Mergers and Acquisitions practice in New York.
Rohan is interested in issues of fundamentality and grounding. He is currently thinking about how these notions relate to issues in metaethics and the philosophy of language -- particularly to debates over the metaphysical commitments of quasi-realism and the indeterminacy of reference. Rohan has a variety of additional interests including: other issues in metaphysics & ethics; business ethics; formal epistemology & decision theory; and philosophical logic.
Outside of philosophy, Rohan enjoys traveling, watching sports, tracking financial news, checking out new restaurants / bars, and obsessing over various television series.
