Nate was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and got a B.A. in Philosophy and History from the University of Nebraska. He most enjoys working on issues at the linguistics/philosophy interface. His interests include formal semantics, syntax and theories of grammar, pragmatics, attitude-ascriptions, investigating the commitments of ordinary language, epistemic foundations, the a priori, and many other things.
He likes Morrissey, basketball, and the comeliest kitty in the Lower Peninsula, Rori. He is heavily invested in the search for a cure for androgenic alopecia.
