About Sven Nyholm

Sven received his MA in philosophy from Lund University in Sweden.  Before coming to Michigan he was a graduate student at Gothenburg University, Sweden, for a while and more recently a visiting scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill.  Sven’s research interests are moral philosophy, the philosophy of mind, and experimental philosophy.  More specifically he has, for example, recently written about different theories of justification, reasons, and rationality. He is also currently carrying out experimental studies of people’s intuitions about the concept of happiness.
