Traditions

The Physics Department has some very long-standing traditions which promote collegiality among the faculty, staff and students.

Coffee/Cookie Hour
Coffee, tea, and cookies are available Monday through Friday at 3:45 P.M. in 337 West Hall. Bring your mug!

Faculty Meetings

Faculty meetings take place twice a month during the academic year (September through April), from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. in 335 West Hall. All faculty members are encouraged to attend.

Staff Meetings

Departmental staff meetings are being held on a monthly basis in 335 West Hall. They begin at 9 A.M. and usually last until 10 A.M. All department, administrative and research support, and instructional support staff are encouraged to attend.
