This spring, NELP (the English Department's New England Literature Program) will for the 40th year take forty undergraduates into the woods of New England to study writing & literature, to climb some mountains, and to explore and experiment with the idea of what it really means to live and learn deliberately. Please consider joining us!
All NELP students receive 9 credits of upper-level English for their work in the program, AND they satisfy LSA's Upper-Level Writing Requirement.
Applications are due Thursday, January 9--and on Monday, November 18 you can learn about NELP from some of the folks who participated in the program last year at our annual Informational Meeting and Slideshow--it's helpful to hear firsthand from former NELPers just what makes this program so special, so wild, so strange, and--for many--such a powerful educational experience.
The New England Literature Program fulfills the PitE Field Experience Requirement, as well as the culture and environment core course requirement.
