PitE Faculty- These faculty are jointly appointed between PitE and their administrative home department (PitE does not serve as a tenure home). These faculty teach PitE courses and dedicate an additional portion of their time providing service to PitE through governance and review committees. PitE faculty serve as advisors and mentors for internships/field experiences, and sponsors for independent study and honors projects. Consistent with the program's interdisciplinary focus, PitE faculty represent a variety of academic disciplines across campus.

 

PitE Teaching Faculty- These faculty teach ENVIRON courses on a regular basis. PitE instructional faculty may serve as advisors and mentors for internships/field experiences, and sponsors for independent study and honors projects. Consistent with the program's interdisciplinary focus, PitE instructional faculty represent a variety of academic disciplines across campus.

 

PitE Faculty Associates- The faculty associates program is comprised of faculty across a wide range of disciplines who voluntarily have an affiliation with PitE. As a PitE faculty associate they have committed to any of the following areas of engagement: teaching courses on a regular basis, advising program students, sponsoring students for independent studies, providing guidance for student field experience, serving on PitE committees.

 

Emeritus- Retired faculty associated with PitE either teaching faculty or former directors.
