Political Science at U of M

Michigan was one of the first schools in the country to organize a department devoted entirely to the study of politics.  Today the department has approximately 50 members and has gained national recognition for the achievements of both faculty members and students.  Michigan's Political Science Department has consistently ranked among the top five departments in the nation in recent surveys of university professors.  The Department takes pride in its members' accomplishments as teachers, writers and consultants or advisors to public officials.
