    Ted Brader is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan and Research Associate Professor in the Center for Political Studies at the Institute for Social Research. He is the author of Campaigning for Hearts and Minds (Chicago 2006) and currently serves as Associate Principal Investigator for the American National Election Studies and Associate Principal Investigator for Time-sharing Experiments for the Social Sciences. His research focuses on the role of emotions in politics, political partisanship, media effects on public opinion, and other topics in political psychology. He has conducted numerous surveys and experiments on politics across seven countries. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Government at Harvard University.
