Within the American politics subfield, Jennifer studies public opinion, political behavior and urban politics. She is specifically interested in examining the ways in which race influences political attitudes and multiracial political identity. She has also conducted research on social service distribution and homelessness.
Prior to graduate school, Jennifer worked in politics for the New York City Mayor's Office and the Clinton Global Initiative. She has also interned on numerous campaigns in the New York/Connecticut area. After graduating from Brown in 2007, she was a Fulbright Grantee in South Korea.
