Cali Mortenson Ellis is a PhD candidate in Public Policy and Political Science. She has a BA in economics from Bates College and an MPP from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Prior to joining the PhD program, she worked at the RAND Corporation, the Homeland Security Directorate of the Michigan National Guard, and the Michigan Governor's Office. Her main research interests are in quantitative analyses of international security, homeland security and intelligence. She has published in the Journal of Applied Security Research (2008) and PS: Political Science & Politics (2012).
