Adrian studies international and comparative political economy (IPE/CPE) with a particular focus on the political economy of factor mobility. The overarching theme of his research interests is economic globalization. The cross-border movements of goods, capital, and people in an integrated world are at the center of his research questions. More specifically, Adrian analyzes the political implications of international factor mobility through the lens of exchange rate fluctuations, to see how different actors maximize their utility under mobile capital and open trade.
