• About

  Alon's research interests focus on comparative political economy, political institutions and ethnic politics. His current work revolve around the interrelations between redistributive policies and ethnic and social cleavages in divided societies. Prior to coming to Michigan, Alon completed his B.A. in political science, philosophy and economics and his M.A. (summa cum laude) in political science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he also worked as a research and teaching assistant.
