    Ekaterina Mishina graduated from the Law School of the Moscow State University, she holds a doctorate in law. She worked for the Constitutional Court of Russia, then headed the Legal Department of Russian cable company «MOSTELECOM». In 2002-2005 she took part in the projects «Law-making» and «Club of Regional Journalism» of the Open Russia Foundation, in 2007-2010 worked on  two  big-scale  projects of the INDEM Foundation.  In the capacity of either General Manager or Legal Expert she participated in several projects of the World Bank, Ford Foundation, European Union and USAID. She was a visiting scholar in NYU (1990-1991), had internships in the US Congress and DC office of «Gardner, Curton & Douglas» (1993), in 2006 took part in the US Department of State Program «U.S.-Russia Experts Forum». Since 2005 she is an Assistant Professor for the National Research University — Higher School of Economics, where she teaches comparative constitutional law and the course on Specifics of Reforms in the post-Soviet Countries. In 2012 and 2013 she taught in the U of M law School as a Visiting Professor.
