History Of The Repository

This repository was initiated as part of a U.S. National Science Foundation-funded project that seeks to understand the dynamics of decision behavior teaching and learning at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels throughout the world. An additional, more long-term goal of the project is to promote the expansion and effectiveness of decision behavior teaching efforts. Many of the initial items in the repository were volunteered by respondents to surveys conducted by the project. (Many respondents were members of the Society for Judgment and Decision Making or the European Association for Decision Making.) The repository itself is partly the product of deliberations at the project's Decision Behavior Teaching Conference held at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business in August 2005. Other, similar efforts developed at the conference will follow.

Ideas and discussion of the project and conference aims are welcomed.
