Professor Norbert Schwarz is a German psychologist working in the United States. Dr. Schwarz's career is the embodiment of enhancing and consolidating scientific collaboration between European and North American colleagues. His scientific career personifies continuous collaboration that has bridged the Atlantic.

Dr. Schwarz's publications attest to his exceptional scholarly contributions. Not only has he been very prolific and influential but also his work spans diverse research areas rather than being focussed on only one single domain.

Dr. Schwarz has published 18 books (some translated into several languages). He has published more than 150 peer reviewed articles in top journals of psychology and a similar number of scholarly chapters and hehas contributed to all major handbooks in social psychology.

In sum, Dr. Schwarz is one of the most distinguished social and behavioural scientists of our time.
