Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Dear Professors Lee and Sellers,

Congratulations to the Department of Psychology on winning the first Rhetaugh G. Dumas Progress in Diversifying Award. This award recognizes an outstanding institutional initiative in demonstrating notable progress by an academic unit in achieving ethnic/racial and gender diversity in the professor, clinical professor, research professor and research scientist faculty ladders/tracks.

The narrative and data provided in your application demonstrated that the Department of Psychology has institutionalized diversity management and inclusion. The Academic Women’s Caucus looks forward to presenting the award to you on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 17th.
