Research Interests
The ability to time intervals in the milliseconds to seconds range is critical for helping individuals temporally coordinate complex movements and predict when critical events may occur. I am interested in the mechanisms that control human timing in this range as well as the neural bases behind these mechanisms. Moreover, I want to explore the relationship between timing and complex behaviors, such as skill learning and bimanual motor coordination, and am interested in how timing is mediated by executive processes and aging.
