Britney's research interests broadly focus on close relationships, attachment styles, hormones, coping strategies, and stress and trauma. More specifically, she is interested in examining the effects of stressful, real-world contexts (e.g., bereavement, pregnancy, chronic illness) and how such contexts influence individuals and their intimate and close relationships. In the future, Britney plans to pursue an academic research and teaching position.
