Research Interests:

I'm primarily interested in the interplay/controversy between evidence-based practice protocols and culturally-sensitive mental health treatment, especially for groups and individuals with values that contradict Western individualist values of mainstream psychology. Particularly interested in cultural differences concerning the role of "place" and "home" for healing, meaning, and intergenerational connection.
