My research is in the area of adult psychodynamic and cognitive psychotherapy. My research interests include: obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders; professional ethics; psychology and religion; religion and healing; historical interactions between religious and secular norms of well-being; history of psychiatry and psychotherapy, culture-bound syndromes and psychotherapies.
