Research Interests:

I am a second-year student in the Combined Program in Education and Psychology at the University of Michigan. Prior to my studies at the University of Michigan, I worked with a New York City community based organization implementing school-based intervention geared towards high school students in need of additional educational support. I have worked on research projects that analyze positive social development and resilience in African Americans within the contexts of religion and spirituality, and education. My current interests center on the educational experiences and protective factors that increase educational attainment, academic achievement and positive social development for African American and Latino American youth.
