Research Interests
I am interested in the mechanisms involved in prejudice and stereotyping, particularly potential interventions for the negative effects of stereotype threat. Currently, I am pursuing two lines of research: the first regarding the experiences of women in science, technology, engineering and math fields, and the second regarding the difference between descriptive and prescriptive stereotypes. I am also interested in issues of identity, particularly identities that are optional and/or concealable.
