Research Interests

I am interested in capacity limits of human information processing, especially in the domain of working memory. I investigate the behavioral as well as the neural consequences when performance is at capacity limits, and especially, when capacity limits are exceeded. I also look at specific and generalizing effects of working memory training. And additionally, I investigate cognitive processes over the whole lifespan as well as the interaction between memory processes and emotion.

Visiting Sept. 1, 2007 - Aug.31, 2010
