Research Interests

I am interested in the way in which individuals are shaped by culture, and how individuals simultaneously affect their culture. In particular, I am interested in cultural variations in cognition and representations of the self and in the psychological consequences of globalization. I am also interested in the implications of culture-specific psychological processes for health and well-being.
