Once you contact us, we’ll set up a time schedule for when you can expect your sample results. The standards and quality control in the CAF are extremely high, and you can expect that your results will be precise and accurate. We run 2 sets of controls in all of our assays—a commercial control (high and low) and a sample pool (high, middle, and low). In addition to your sample results, we will also provide you with all of our quality control results on your samples: parallelism, precision, accuracy, inter- and intra-assay coefficients of variation. All samples are run in duplicate, and if duplicates differ (by an error of more than 6%), they will be re-run. Additionally, while your samples are in the CAF, you can expect that they will be stored and handled with the utmost care at whichever temperature you choose—we have refrigerator, freezer (-10°C) or ultra-low freezer (-80°C) space available. Once your samples have been successfully assayed, we can either dispose of your samples or return them to you.
