Class of 2009 Graduation Reception
On Friday, May 1, 2009, the Psychology Department honored the Class of 2009 University of Michigan graduates in Psychology, Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science & Neuroscience.
At a Graduation and Award Ceremony, Honors and Senior Thesis Program graduates received a certificate of recognition. Professor John Hagen, Student Academic Affairs Chair, welcomed the graduates and their guests and congratulated the graduates on their outstanding research work. Psychology Department Chair Theresa Lee presented awards to eleven outstanding students. Remarks were made by Class of 2009 graduates Michael Finn & Calli Kosch. Professor Lee invited all in attendance to enjoy the reception, which was being held in honor of all the 956 Psychology Department Graduating Concentrators.
Graduates and their families entered East Hall to find a festive celebration of people, refreshments, and the colors maize & blue. The East Hall first floor atrium and third floor terrace were packed with individuals wishing to congratulate our graduates and participate in the celebration.
Psychology Department photographers were on hand to capture the moment for the graduates and their friends and families, sending home a photograph to remember the day with all who wanted one.
Best of luck to all of our graduates! Go BLUE!
