HONORS PROGRAM FORMS

Psych & BCN Honors Program

Application Deadlines

The Psych & BCN Honors program has set deadlines each academic year. Students have the opportunity to apply at three different times before the Fall term begins.  All deadlines are weighed the same; it does not help or harm you to apply by a specific deadline.  Please plan ahead with your faculty mentor to create your research proposal as the information required has changed.

**The deadline for the 2012-2013 year has passed and no further applications will be accepted under any circumstances**

Students beginning Psych 424 FA-13 have the following deadlines:

  • 1st deadline: 5pm on Wed. March 20, 2013, students will find out their application status on March 29.
  • 2nd deadline: 5pm on Wed. June 12, 2013, students will find out their application status on June 28.
  • 3rd & final deadline: 5pm on Wed. August 14, 2013, students will find out their application status on August 30.

No applications will be accepted after the above deadlines.
** No Exceptions **

Application Information

**Please note a new online application form is now available. Paper applications will not be accepted. A copy of your unofficial transcript and proposal must also be attached to your electronic application.

Neuroscience Honors Program

NS Honors applicants (with Psychology mentors) are encouraged to apply online within the first two weeks of the term the student wishes to start the NS Honors Program. The application is electronic and requires applicants to upload a copy of their transcripts and project plan. The project plan should be described in detail including a timeline and should emphasize the relevance of the project to the study of neuroscience. *Please note that the NS Steering Committee does not meet over the spring/summer and will not be reviewing applications during that time frame.
