Exhibits

Race: Are we so different? is the traveling exhibit that started it all — the inspiration for the entire Understanding Race Project. The exhibit will be on display at the U-M Museum of Natural History from February 9 through August 11, 2013.

IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas, a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian, will be on view from January 9 through 31, 2013. The exhibit’s opening event, Identities in Red, Black and White: A Roundtable Discussion, kicks off the Winter 2013 LSA Understanding Race Theme Semester.

Additional exhibits at the Museum of Natural History provide a local counterpoint to the nationally traveling exhibit.

Numerous other exhibits on campus explore a rich and thought-provoking range of issues related to understanding race.
