Internship Opportunities
Many RC students do summer internships to get a taste of what a certain field or organization might be like. The internship experience can vary widely, so it's important to do plenty of research during your search process.
Where can you find an internship?
The LSA International Internship Program has information on international internships.
Is there any funding for internships?
Yes. If you have applied for and been offered an unpaid or low-paying internship, you may be eligible for scholarship funds through the RC. Each year, the RC allocates funds to help several students cover travel, living, or other expenses during their internships and research. Contact Cynthia Burton (caburton@umich.edu) for more information about these need-based scholarships.
