As an artist and teacher Larry Cressman has lived and worked in Ann Arbor for a number of years. He maintains a studio there and actively exhibits his work. His work has been shown at Detroit Institute of Arts, the University of Michigan Museum of Art, and most recently in exhibits at Buckham Gallery in Flint, Michigan, University Art Gallery, Central Michigan University and the Elsie Munro Gallery at Albion College in Albion, Michigan.
During his graduate studies at the University of Michigan, Larry Cressman received several Rackham Fellowships, and his work was included in regional and national print and drawing exhibits throughout the country. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including several Michigan Council for the Arts Creative Artists grants.
