As the proud product of both the small liberal arts college as well as the large university, Kaitlin delights in the Residential College setting. Kaitlin is a doctoral candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, writing her dissertation on seventeenth-century missionary narratives. Her larger research interests include the intersections of culture and religion, the je in travel narratives, and Francophone literature of the nineteenth century.
Kaitlin’s true passion is teaching and interacting with her students. She has been in the classroom since 2001, primarily teaching courses in French language and culture. She looks forward to collaborating with students this fall in both her Intensive French I discussion section and her seminar “Representations of Alterity: Spirituality and l’Autre”.
