Interests and Current Work
I am interested in Medieval and Renaissance Italian literature; Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio, Machiavelli, Ariosto and their contemporaries; science in literature; cosmology in Dante; Latin learning and vernacular forms (poetry, prose, preaching); and early translation.
