Areas and Interests
My teaching interests include the teaching of culture and cross-cultural comparisons, and the use of technology in teaching. Specialty areas include American literature/culture and foreign languages. I have taught French 101-232; special topics course 232 ("Cross-cultural comparisons and technology"); French 270 ("Francophone Literature"); French 274 ("Francophone Culture"); French 111 (reading course for graduate students); and upper-level French for Summer Program Abroad in Grenoble (through OIP) "Culture and literature." Professional Work and Publications Projects: Participated in the creation of a video for French 101-103, "Un couscous marocain." Directed the project. The video received a national prize. Participated in the creation of a pronunciation video for French. Directed the project. Participated in the creation of a CD-ROM/video cultural series for French using Macromedia Director.
