What's it like to learn about Colombia, Eucador, Peru, and Bolivia through art and tradition?

This term, 24 students have the opportunity to learn through the Spanish 232 topic course, Un Museo de la Region Andina. The course, designed by Tatiana Calixto and supervised by Maria Dorantes, has a strong museum theme component. The students complement their learning by recreating traditions, and by University of Michigan Museum of Art workshops and outings. Click here to see some pictures of their experiences.

Students will be exhibiting their own representations of the Andean region at the gallery in the Duderstadt Center on north campus 7pm Tuesday December 4, 2007. This event is open to the public.
