Terms of Inclusion winner of a 2012 Roberto Reis Book Award!

Professor Paulina Alberto’s book Terms of Inclusion: Black Intellectuals in Twentieth-Century Brazil won a Roberto Reis Book Award for 2012 from the Brazilian Studies Association (BRASA). This award, given every two years, recognizes two of the best books in Brazilian studies published in English that significantly promote an understanding of Brazil. The award is named for Roberto Reis, one of the founders of BRASA, “who was committed to developing Brazilian Studies in the United States.”
